The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have done some serious renovations to Frogmore Cottage before moving into the Windsor-based property earlier this year. After converting the five different apartments into one large residence, the couple is now onto the final touches – and it looks like they’ve turned to Etsy for decorations.
After Leeds-based photographer Richard Wilson shared on Instagram that a bespoke A1 sized aluminium print of his photograph of Lewis Hamilton was ‘ready to be shipped to a Royal household,’ news sources started speculating about the potential buyers – and the Sussexes seem to be frontrunners.
Wilson, whose images can be bought on Etsy via the link in his bio, couldn’t be more excited. ‘I’m immensely proud of having one of my photographs displayed in a house owned by a member of a Royal family,’ he captioned the picture. ‘Never had a image printed in this size or on this material, I’m blown away.’

The print Harry and Meghan reportedly ordered shows British racing driver Lewis climbing into his Mercedes F1 AMG Formula 1 car before winning his sixth British Grand Prix earlier this month.
‘To celebrate this record breaking win, the print will be limited to 666 prints world wide and individually number and signed by the Photographer,’ Wilson writes on his webshop. It’s available in both framed and unframed formats, for £99.99 and £49.99 respectively.
Not too much of a splurge, so Formula One fans better pop it in their basket now because we reckon this one will sell out fast.
