Following the crossover with the Adult Swim series, Rick and Morty, Diadora recently progresses to the next collaboration. This time around, the Italian footwear label incorporates elements of the American comic strip, Peanuts, into into the design of its iconic silhouettes, B. Elite and Mi Basket.
The high-top Mi Basket features a perforated vamp on the white-leather upper body, combined with a gum outsole that’s detailed with exposed stitching. Graphics showing Snoopy and Woodstock, both wearing Boy Scouts uniforms, can be seen embroidered on the lateral side, while a napping Woodstalk adorns the medial side as well as the insole. As for the new B. Elite, bright-red laces contrast the white base color of the shoe, highlighting the characters Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown and Linus Van Pelt above the label’s signature stripe. Finishing up the shoe is a graphic of the entire cast printed on the vibrant insoles.
Priced at €130 EUR and €110 EUR (approximately $150 USD and $126 USD), respectively, the Peanuts x Diadora Mi Basket and B. Elite will be available on February 9 at diadora.com and at select retailers like BSTN. Make sure to mark your calendars.
