Following the last fleece-lined iteration of the Chuck Taylor All Star Slip, Converse has released a set of blank DIY Chucks that come with a set of coloring markers.
Dubbed "Nurie," which translates to "draw" or "color" in Japanese, the sneaker sees "Converse" branding repeated throughout the uppers in rounded block letters. White eyelets and laces are paired with a crisp midsole, complemented with a tonal "All-Star" label at the rear. Converse’s iconic Chuck Taylor logo is stamped on the medial sides while two subtle vents are placed above the footbridge. As a final note, a set of red, yellow and blue markers are included with each pair, allowing the wearer to add his/her unique touch to the sneakers.
The Converse Chuck Taylors All-Star "Nurie" is currently available at atmos-tokyo.com for $71 USD.
Elsewhere, New Balance has delivered a pair of 990v5s in a patriotic colorway.
