Encompassing a wide array of pieces, the collection offers up C2H4’s signature attention to functionality with plenty of pull-tabs, zippered compartments and weather resistant fabrics. More subtle is the way that select garments have been entirely reconstructed, with shirts, jackets and trousers alike crafted from obtuse patterns that interrupt familiar staple pieces with surprising layers and an occasional patchwork panel.
Custom collection tags and stylized branding appears throughout, granting a techy touch to sleeveless jackets, hoodies, shorts and accessories. Indeed, branded ID-carrying lanyards yield a particularly anti-fashion motif, underlined by graphic ties and crisp white shirting. The latter, like several blazer-style jackets, is bolstered by prints of technical jargon and cyborg verbiage. All-over prints add a playful touch to the sci-fi-leaning goods.
The new collection hits C2H4’s web store on March 9.
Most recently, C2H4’s Chemist Creations sub-label dropped muted layering pieces and collaborative ASICS sneakers.
