There’s a reason the law was enacted, and it’s because it is what’s right, period. Continuing to cover and debate it just blurs the fact that we’ve made progress. This law recognizes that no matter what, a moment of pleasure eating a “delicacy” is not worth a lifetime of pain for another creature.
