The Common Knowledge, a Los Angeles-based accessories line, is seeking an experienced freelance sales representative capable of building upon our identity and reputation to spur growth and expand sales in the US as well as in Europe and Asia. The individual should be highly motivated and hard-working with an understanding of how to best target potential buyers and focus the product within receptive markets. The Common Knowledge is an emerging young company that has received press in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Nylon, and Refinery29 amongst others.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of sales experience within the fashion market
- Strong established buyer contacts throughout U.S., Europe, and Asia
- Ability to build new business and strengthen existing relationships
- Strong organizational skills and appreciation of detail
- Capabilities in written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for working in a team for an emerging young company
- Ability to close a deal
- Willing to engage potential customers and buyers at pop-up events and tradeshows about the brand, products, and pricing.
Duties Include:
- Devising innovative sales strategies
- Organizing and conducting sales appointments
- Following up with potential Buyers
- Writing and Organizing Purchase Orders
Salary: Primarily commission based, salary DOE
