Stockton Metropolitan Airport will begin service to Los Angeles.
SkyWest Airlines based in St. George, Utah, will be the carrier.

The announcement was made Wednesday at the airport. Currently, Allegiant Airlines flies out of Stockton Metropolitan Airport with service to Las Vegas and Phoenix, Arizona.
