Loyola High School has selected Drew Casani to take over as head football coach.
Casani coached linebackers and was the college recruiting coach last season. He’s a 1991 Loyola graduate who was director of scouting for UCLA and a scout for the St. Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers.
He takes over a program that was once Division 1 but could drop to Division 3 next season. The Cubs continue to bring in coaches with ties to former coach Steve Grady, who was head coach for 29 years until his retirement in 2004, winning four Division 1 titles.
