Gordon has been sidelined for three games with a knee injury, with the latest contest serving as a semifinal tilt in a majority of fantasy leagues.
The 25-year-old Gordon took to Twitter to offer an apology to the masses that might have selected him with a first-round pick in fantasy drafts.
“To my fantasy owners …who lost without my help I’m sorry. Crunch time in these playoffs and I couldn’t come thru !!” Gordon wrote.
Gordon also included an image that said, “You trusted me. And I failed you.”
