This is the booze-soaked Globes (a “naturally zesty enterprise”), so the “careful, man, there’s a beverage here” adage could come in handy. And since this is the HFPA, Bridges could trot out the “you’re not dealing with morons” line if he decided to take a mean-spirited, Ricky Gervais-approved approach. And given that Globe-nominated Sam Elliott will be in the room, Bridges could let a few F-bombs fly, hoping the actor who played the Stranger might shout, “Do you have to use so many cuss words?” But, you know, that’d be just, like, his opinion, man. Bridges abides, no matter what approach he takes.
