Although the most prestigious event on the awards season schedule is still more than a month away — that would be the Academy Awards — and the Golden Globes don’t happen until this weekend, our favorite actors aren’t waiting to put their best red carpet looks forward. On Thursday evening, this year’s best and brightest Hollywood stars gathered in California at the Palm Springs International Film Festival to honor breakthrough directors, actors and more.
For the occasion, Emma Stone wore a floral jumpsuit by Louis Vuitton, while Laura Harrier chose an elegant white two-piece strapless Cushnie ensemble. New-on-the-scene star Yalitza Aparicio, featured in the much-buzzed-about Netflix film “Roma,” opted for a custom red piece from Adeam, while Emily Blunt wore a one-shouldered dress by Roland Mouret in a similarly fiery hue. There were plenty of excellent suits on display, too, with Mahershala Ali, Timothée Chalamet and Rami Malek sporting a variety of perfectly-tailored options.
