Bryce Harper is the biggest name available on the free agent market this offseason and there are quite a few teams that want to bring him in. Among those teams are the Chicago White Sox and Philadelphia Phillies, although neither of those teams can offer Harper the kind of money he wants along with the opportunity to compete for a World Series.
According to a report from Chris Camello of The Rebel Media, the Dodgers may have an agreement in place with Harper. The report is not confirmed and Camello isn’t verified, but it is certainly intriguing.
Regarding Bryce, my sources said there was an internal rumor within organization that #Dodgers have an agreement reached with Harper but it’s still not confirmed. I’m working to see what’s going on, but nothing confirmed or official yet

Los Angeles has been one of the teams that have been talked about as a potential landing spot for Harper. They are expected to let Manny Machado walk this offseason and replacing him with harper would be a solid move.
Last season with the Washington Nationals, Harper had a bit of a down season. He ended the year with a .249 batting average to go along with 34 home runs and 100 RBI’s. Harper is used to hitting for a better average, but that should come back without the worries and pressure from a contract year.
Those numbers would not be a “down season” for very many players. That alone shows just how good Harper has been.
It will be interesting to see what ends up happening with Harper this offseason. The Chicago Cubs were another team that was expected to be in heavy pursuit of Harper, but they don’t appear as interested. Clutch Points has also previously talked about why the Cubs should stay away from the superstar outfielder.
All of that being said, stay tuned for more free agency news and rumors about Harper. The Dodgers may or may not have a deal in place with Harper, but it would certainly make sense for both parties involved.
