Pizza for almost free
Beverly Center option Cal Mare is going all-in on the LA Rams, offering fans of the football team and the restaurant a chance to score big should the team advance to the Super Bowl on Sunday. If indeed the Rams pull it out, chef Adam Sobel tells Eater that Cal Mare will sell two different pizzas for just $0.53, in honor of the Super Bowl’s 53rd year. If it happens, the deal will kick in on Monday, January 21 during their apertivo hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It’s limited to 100 pies total though, so show up early.
El Segundo beat
El Segundo newcomer the Slice and Pint is starting service this weekend, having doled out a few special invites for locals to come in and try the pizza. The first official day of full service for the El Segundo Brewing-attached project is Tuesday.
