Manny Pacquiao arrives in Los Angeles three weeks before his WBA (Regular) World Championship bout against Adrien Broner in January.
Eight-division world champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao has arrived in Los Angeles with less than a month to go before his scheduled WBA (Regular) Welterweight World Championship bout against Adrien Broner.
Pacquiao, who turned 40 earlier this month, will be making his US boxing return after a two-year hiatus on January 19th in Las Vegas, where he will be making his first defense of the WBA title against Broner.
Pacquiao will likely resume training at the world-famous Wild Card Boxing Gym in Los Angeles, after patching things up with long-time mentor Freddie Roach.
Roach, who worked with Pacquiao for the better part of 16 years, was absent during Pacquiao’s WBA title-clinching win over Argentinian Lucas Matthysse in Malaysia last July.
The two sides have since reconnected and have confirmed that they will be working together for the upcoming Broner fight.
