LOS ANGELES — Slouched over in his Los Angeles-area living room almost a year ago to the date, 18-year-old Joey Linn was scrolling through Twitter when he noticed that his favorite player, Blake Griffin, was trending on the ever-so-popular app. Linn has been a Clippers fan since the age of 9, when he sat transfixed in front of his television as the franchise drafted the highlight-reel forward from Oklahoma with the No. 1 pick in 2009.
