An office building located steps from the Orange Line’s Warner Center Station could make way for a mixed-use complex, according to plans filed last week with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.
The 1.5-acre project site, located at 21201 Victory Boulevard, is slated for a seven-story structure containing 244 dwelling units – including 61 live/work units – with 16,825 square feet of office space and parking for 219 vehicles.
Levine Family Properties, LLC is listed as the developer of the proposed apartment complex, which would replace a 36,000-square-foot office building completed in the late 1970s.
The multifamily residential development at 21201 Victory is just the latest in a slew of projects on the horizon for Warner Center. A short distance south at 6400 Canoga Avenue, local real estate firm Sandstone Properties filed plans earlier this year to construct 610 apartments in towers of 25 and 27 stories.
Already under construction nearby is the 271-unit Evolution Warner Center development, which is rising just north of the Orange Line right-of-way on Variel Avenue.
