Cloudrap frontrunner and Drain Gang founder Bladee has returned with two new singles that epitomize the Sadboy-sound the Swedish rapper helped usher in. The two new tracks, “Vanilla Sky” –featuring fellow Drain Gang member Ecco2k – and “Birdbath,” stay true to Bladee’s idiosyncratic style, ushering in lo-fi tethered verses over the instrumentals co-produced by Woesum, Nikita, and Oozini.
Notably so, the tracks seem to be inspired by Tom Cruise’s film of the same name, with the artwork channeling a similar aesthetic to that of the film’s theatrical poster. The track follows Bladee’s recent "Famous" track alongisde Yung Lean, Black Kray, and YSB OG.
