Following up on the surprise drop of the visual for her latest single "Spirit," Beyoncé releases the full The Lion King: The Gift Album. The compilation produced and composed by the global singer provides a glimpse into the vocals that will appear throughout the film, officially hitting theaters today.
The album features an assortment of stars who made a name for themselves in the American music industry including Jay-Z, Childish Gambino, Pharrell Williams, Tierra Whack and more. Blue Ivy also makes a surprise appearance on the song "BROWN SKIN GIRL;" she is noted as a songwriter in the credits.
What’s special about the tracks is the appearance of a slew of global stars such as Burnaboy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage and Tekno to name a few. Interludes throughout the project are voiced by stars of the film Mufasa (James Earl Jones), Nala (Beyoncé), Simba (Donald Glover), Scar (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Timon (Billy Eichner) and Pumbaa (Seth Rogen).
