Over the weekend, former President Barack Obama shared his summer 2019 playlist via his social media accounts. He of course had some help from the Mrs., sharing, “With summer winding down, here’s a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to—some new, some old, some fast, some slow,” in the post’s caption. “Hope you enjoy.”
President Obama’s 2019 Summer Playlist includes of bevy of this year’s bangers such as Beyoncé’s "MOOD 4 EVA" featuring JAY-Z and Childish Gambino. The aforementioned track was featured on Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift album, which released earlier this summer.
Elsewhere the 44-track playlist stretches from Steely Dan to 2 Chainz, from the Rolling Stones to Lil Nas X, from Frank Sinatra to Lizzo. Drake‘s 2016 album Views is also spotlighted.
Although Obama is no longer the U.S. President, he still continues to impress the country with his infectious charm. Check out Obama’s full 2019 Summer Playlist below.
