Balenciaga keeps the Triple S drops coming, following the previous "White/Turquiose" colorway, with a new silvery iteration. Reworked with "Pearl Grey" accents, the chunky sneaker sees tri-toned uppers stacked atop a semi-translucent midsole.
Made up of a mix of materials like leather, mesh and rubber, the sneaker’s upper boasts a dynamic arrangement of textiles in muted shades of grey. The cushioned tongue comes stamped with "Triple S" branding, followed by round striped laces gracing the forefoot. Complemented by smooth leather panels, mesh underlays are placed along the heel, sidewalls and toe cap. Furthermore, "Balenciaga" is embroidered at the side, while the number "44" appears at the toes. All of these features sit over a hefty midsole, highlighted by its semi-transparent piece that’s sandwiched between dark rubber layers at the top and bottom. As a bonus, more "Balenciaga" branding shows up underneath the outsole, boldly embossed across the footbridge.
The Balenciaga Triple S "Pearl Grey" is currently available at brownsfashion.com for $995 USD.
Elsewhere, Vans has vibrantly color-blocked its Era silhouette in "Rose/Orange" and "White/Blue."
