The buzz surrounding ‘Space Jam 2’ with LeBron James continues with a freshly-painted basketball court mural of the ‘Tune Squad.’ Located at the Rodney Park North court in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, artists Evan Rossell and his partner Dee Rosse reinterpret the famed ‘Looney Tunes’ characters in the public artwork. Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Tweety, and Taz are all portrayed in the massive creative effort while adorning the signature ‘Tune Squad’ jerseys.
In partnership with the New York City Parks Department, Warner Bros. will host a private five-on-five basketball game on August 1 alongside the launch of limited-edition Tune Squad products by New Era and NTWORK. Original artwork by Evan Rossell will also be available for purchase. Visit GetAnimatedInvasion.com for further details. ‘Space Jam 2’ has a tentative release date of July 16, 2021.
