Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be set to up sticks and jet off to Africa for good.
The couple have only recently moved to Frogmore Cottage, before the arrival of the royal baby this month, but once the little one arrives the trio could be relocating across the pond very soon.
The Sunday Times has reported the couple may be moving to Africa to pursue their charity work, as Meghan works closely with the charity World Vision, and to promote Britain as part of their royal duties.
The publication has claimed the Duke of Sussex’s advisers are drawing up a ‘bespoke’ role for the pair, which will combine their roles as Commonwealth, and British, representatives, with humanitarian work.
The Sunday Times reported Sir David Manning – the former British ambassador to America – is planning the new roles for the parents-to-be, which will see a ‘more international position that could build on their work for the Commonwealth’.
However, a statement released by Buckingham Palace has denied these reports and insisted the potential move is ‘speculative’ at present.
The announcement read: ‘Any future plans for The Duke and Duchess are speculative at this stage. No decisions have been taken about future roles.’

But a separate source has insisted a move is certainly on the cards for the former Suits actress and her partner for 2020, because Harry is President of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, while Meghan is Vice President.
An insider told PEOPLE: ‘This is a 1000-year-old monarchy overseeing a Commonwealth of 54 territories. Lots of people depend on its existence and continued success. Eventually Harry and Meghan will be dispatched somewhere.’
While The Sunday Times has claimed the duo’s move to Africa will see them out there for two to three years, ITV has reported it will only be for a few months.
Either way, we imagine the move will be welcomed by Meghan and Harry who hold a soft spot for Africa, in particular Botswana, where they spent some time in the early stages of their romance.
Harry is currently the President of African Parks, as well as the patron of the Rhino Conservation Botswana, while Meghan has been the Global Ambassador for World Vision Canada.
Prince William’s younger brother has previously admitted Botswana is where he feels most comfortable.
Speaking previously to Town and Country magazine, he said: ‘This is where I feel more like myself than anywhere else in the world.’
