Sure, being a royal has its advantages – the fashion, the princes, the tiaras, the castles – but it definitely also has its drawbacks, from the end of privacy to the dreaded rumour mill.
No one knows this more than the two millennial Duchesses, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, who face rumours of fallouts and feuds on the regular.
First there was the speculation that the two women had butted heads, and now since that has been cleared up they are both facing separate feud rumours, Meghan’s with A-list pal Priyanka Chopra, and Kate’s with rural neighbour, Rose Hanbury.
And while Meghan’s reaction has not yet been reported, Kate is said to be less than pleased with the rumours of a neighbourhood fallout.
Rose and her husband David live a few miles away from Anmer Hall, Kate and William’s country home, and the two couples are said to be good friends.

It’s hardly surprising therefore that no one was impressed when tabloids reported that the two women were feuding, dubbing Rose ‘Kate’s rural rival’, with The Sun even alleging that Kate had asked William to have Rose ‘phased out’ of their friendship group.
According to royal reporter Richard Kay, via The Daily Mail, there’s no truth to the reports, with both sides apparently left so upset by the speculation that they considered ‘legal action’. But, seeing as ‘none of the reports have been able to offer any evidence about what the so-called dispute is about’, both parties involves have reportedly chosen to rise above it.
‘These hurtful rumours of a fall-out are simply false,’ a family source reportedly told Richard Kay. ‘William and David were in touch with each other over the weekend, not knowing whether to laugh or complain. Both wives are hurt by the suggestion that there is any argument or even a coolness between them. They have plans for future events involving their charity.’
Well, that’s that.
