We got a glimpse of Alexander Wang’s "COLLECTION 2 2019" at New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019, and now, the full range is finally here. The brand has released its #TheWangHustle campaign for the collection featuring German model Anna Ewers.
Fit into an overarching theme of modern day hustlers, each photo is shot movie poster-style in which Anna portrays a self-made woman. The imagery is accompanied with phrases such as, "She’s not a paper chaser. She’s a money maker," "Keep your friends close and your funds closer," and "Nothing’s more romantic than your own success." In the campaign, the model is seen sitting on top of wads of cash or posing in luxurious settings. Scroll through the gallery above to take a look for yourself.
The collection itself is chic and sleek. Key everyday essentials such as black turtle necks, a matching blazer and trouser set and of course, leather jackets, are must-cop items. No Alexander Wang collection would be complete without a few unconventional items so a neck-to-toe body-con lace jumpsuit is also included as well as a a patent leather garment bag. The accessories in the range feature standout pieces such as drop-chain earrings, Alexander Wang-branded heels and square handbags. We’ve previously seen a black and gold crystal-studded Wangloc tote bag, and now, even more rhinestone-covered pouches have emerged.
