adidas Originals is releasing an all-new retro-inspired silhouette called the Stadt in both "Real Purple/Solar Yellow/Gold Metallic" and "Glow Green/Gold Metallic."
Stadt means "City" in German, and although this silhouette is not part of the City Series, it does take inspiration from numerous gum-bottomed sneakers from the adidas Originals line. The Stadt also draws heavy influences from the Tobacco and Trimm Star, seen in the toe cap, eyestay, heel tab and gold-toned foil stamp on the Stadt’s lateral side panel.
The Stadt is a clean introduction to the esteemed Originals line-up, as it features tonal stitching and soft, rounded lines throughout its design. The low-profile gum sole unit offsets the bold colors of the uppers, which are contrasted themselves with pops of "Solar Yellow" and hot pink seen on the traditional zig-zag cut Three Stripes and heel tab.
Both pairs are set to release via Three Stripes stockists such as Sneakersnstuff on August 24 for £89 GBP (approx. $107 USD). Take a closer look at the adidas Originals Stadt in the gallery above.
