Neo-cubist artist Adam Lister recently teamed up with Sergio Tacchini to reinterpret one of the designer’s high-end tennis sneakers from his Fall/Winter 2019 collection. Using the slightly chunky POWER model as the canvas, Lister’s trademark 8-bit motifs are hand-painted across the silhouette in blue and red tones. The shoe was entirely crafted using leather and predominantly coated in colored nylon on the uppers. Topping off the design is Lister’s signature engraved on the heel caps with Sergio Tacchini’s label stitched on the lateral side portions.
The collaborative low-top is set to release this week exclusively in-store and online from Footlocker Europe. Stay tuned for updates.
In other standout artist collaborations, Tom Sachs and Nike recently announced their upcoming NIKECRAFT Transitions collection.
