While sex abuse- and corruption-plagued USC is still letting some students connected to the admissions scam sweat out their fates, 19-year-old Instagram and YouTube superstar Olivia Jade has reportedly decided the university can drop dead as she returns to her dream of owning the internet.
Jade’s parents, Full House and Fuller House star Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, are fighting charges that they paid $500 thousand in bribes to get Olivia and her sister, Bella, 20, into the troubled college, but a source says that the younger of the two is over it.
“Olivia has no plans to return to USC,” the source tells ETonline. “She never wanted to attend USC to begin with, and now she is sure that USC isn’t the place for her. Right now her goal is to rebuild her brand and her business.”
In the wake of the admissions mess, HP, Sephora, TRESemmé, and Estée Lauder all cut ties with Olivia Jade. But ET’s source says she’s seeking her dad’s advice on how to put her burgeoning empire back together.
“He understands business. He has been encouraging Olivia to create a new brand, either makeup or beauty related.”
Olivia Jade and mom Lori have been to therapy to mend their relationship in the wake of the public embarrassment, but the road ahead is still rocky, says the tipster. “Olivia has forgiven her but she still carries some resentment because she realizes that this scandal has marked her and will never entirely go away.”
Jade’s decision to quit the university and its headaches should come as no surprise. During her freshman year, she missed the first week of classes to do some influencing from Figi, and said at the time in now-deleted YouTube video, “I don’t really care about school, as you guys all know.”
She expressed that sentiment on Twitter as well back in February.
YouTube will always be my #1 passion. I promise I’d way rather be filming 24/7 than sitting in 6 hours of classes straight but an education is also super important to me so thank u for ur patience and letting me figure out time management . Ily bbs

On Sunday, wearing a Snoop Dogg shirt and flipping a pair of birds, Olivia Jade responded to the media and its sources in an Instagram post.
