To commemorate the prestigious LVMH Prize for Young Designers accolade set to be presented next week, 24S has curated a 51-piece collection featuring the eight finalists that are still in the running. The capsule encompasses a limited-edition selection of womenswear, menswear and accessories from emerging brands including ANREALAGE, Bethany Williams, BODE, Hed Mayner, Kenneth Ize, PHIPPS, Stefan Cooke and Thebe Magugu.
Items in the assortment seek to highlight some of the notable trademarks of each designer, such as BODE’s affinity for vintage textiles and Kenneth Ize’s signature use of the traditional Aso Oke fabric from Nigeria. Other pieces in the mix include ANREALAGE’s BE@RBRICK diffuser in collaboration with Medicom Toy, as well as Bethany Williams’ various recycled styles like denim jackets and pants.
Prices range from £40 GBP (approximately $50 USD) for the exclusive PHIPPS’ bandana, up to £4320 GBP (approx. $5,300 USD) for ANREALAGE’s patchwork bomber jacket. Elsewhere, the LVMH Prize revealed today that it has changed the name of its Special Prize in order to honor Karl Lagerfeld.
