Self-described as "the largest supplier of workwear … in Europe," the Fristads Kansas Group links with New York’s Willy Chavarria for a truly technical selection of fashion-conscious workwear. Specifically, Chavarria taps the companny’s long-running Danish workwear supplier KANSAS to produce select rugged garments for Chavarria’s Fall/Winter 2019 offering.
Original KANSAS garments are repurposed and given a Chavarria twist, with sweaters sporting dropped shoulders and fleece jackets utilizing boxy cuts to encourage adventurous layering. Elsewhere, Quilted trousers and slouchy overalls anchor the substantial fleece-lined work jackets and trim quarter-zips. Neutral tones like navy, black and grey appear throughout, with contrasting yellow, blue and red graphics reinforcing Chavarria’s street-friendly aesthetic.
Willy Chavarria’s web store and stockists will host the collaborative KANSAS goods later this year.
Recently, Chavarria reunited with Hummel for a soccer-themed capsule.
