It feels like we’ve been waiting for ages to see the live action remake of Disney’s classic, The Lion King. The film boasts a star-studded cast, and many fans are eager to see celeb royalty Beyoncé voicing Nala when it hits screens later this week.
Queen Bey attended the UK premiere of the film with her husband, Jay-Z, alongside another A-list/royal couple – Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
All eyes (and cameras) were on Beyoncé and Meghan’s first public meeting as many have been calling for the pair to meet ever since the Carters made an unmissable statement with their portrait of the Duchess of Sussex at the Brit Awards earlier this year. Meghan has also been a Beyoncé fan for years and made several references to her on her now-deleted Instagram account.
Meghan and Bey greeted each other with a hug, and they spoke for a while before Harry joined them and had a chat with Jay-Z. But now we finally know what two of the most famous couples in the world said to one another during the exchange.
It all started with Bey calling Meghan ‘My Princess’, and Harry appeared to be telling the Carters all about Archie and how much he has grown.
Royal correspondent Rebecca English was close by when the exchange happened and documented their chat on Twitter.
