Yes, the rumours were true, we are currently in the midst of a heatwave, and with it comes that tricky question of how to dress in 30 degree heat.
There is only one answer for me: a summer dress. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it they say, and they are right.
So this week I’ll be investing in three gorgeous styles I’ve had my eye on for a while, and here’s why I’m buying them.
First off, we have the Faithfull the Brand dress. If anyone can do heatwave fashion, it’s the Aussies, and Faithfull does it pretty damn well. You’ll have seen the Insta-worthy dresses draped across your favourite influencers. I’ve already got a couple of midi dresses from the brand, but as it’s mega hot this week (have I mentioned this already?), I’ll be wearing this short number.

It’s no secret I love a slip dress, so my second buy of the week is this sleek Bernadette Antwerp gown. I’ll admit it’s not cheap, however the quality is second to none, and having tried it, I can tell you it’s basically as close to wearing nothing (and being decent) as you’ll get. Well worth it.

Lastly, a little high street number for you. Linen is a great fabric to wear in the heatwave as it’s so light, and this & Other Stories dress is your ultimate flattering LBD. Lovely for a night out or al fresco dining.
