THE CONVENI Taps Mame Kurogouchi for Collaborative Tees and Cotton Swabs

Following a set of collaborative Arnold Palmer items, THE CONVENI teams up with TOKYO DESIGN AWARD winner Mame Kurogouchi for a set of playful T-shirts. If that’s not enough, the duo recruited a specialist imprint to create a set of bespoke cotton swabs.

Four monochrome T-shirts sport black-and-white photographs of cabaret dancers on the front, with vertical co-branding emblazoned towards the neck at the rear of each shirt. To keep in line with THE CONVENI’s convenience store-inspired layout, the shirts are all packaged in lighthearted mixed bean cans branded as a "Remixed T-Shirt." The shirts are accompanied by a range of cotton swabs stored in much more minimalist containers, crafted by Japanese company Heiwa Medic, purported by Kurogouchi to be the best swabs in the world. Each one offers slightly different left and right heads, for maximum versatility.

Mame Kurogouchi’s collaborative tees and swabs hit THE CONVENI’s web store and Ginza outpost this weekend, with the shirts weighing in at ¥10,000 JPY apiece and the swabs offered for ¥500 JPY ($90 USD and $4.50 USD, respectively)

Recently, THE COVNENI founder Hiroshi Fujiwara joined Yanmar for a collaborative fragment design yacht.
