Supreme has just taken to Instagram to reveal that there’s a Jean Paul Gaultier collaboration on its way. The iconic French designer is known for his avant-garde approach towards clothing design, bending gender norms in the fashion industry early on, all while teetering on a fine line of art and fashion.
Catching his fair share of criticism and controversy throughout his career, it is only fitting that Jean Paul Gaultier was the next luxe name that Supreme chose to work with after Louis Vuitton. From the teaser image we can see a Pop-Art inspired jacket and pant combo in bold yellow with an all-over print graphic, but what’s sure to get fans excited is the checked blue, red and black mohair coat. Finishing off the look in the teaser image is a co-branded Gaultier/Supreme belt buckle done in JPG’s signature typeface.
Stay tuned as we’ll be updating you on the Supreme x Jean Paul Gaultier collaboration as news arrives.
