Three months after joining Wiley, Idris Elba and Sean Paul for the official "Boasty" music video, Stefflon Don is teaming up with Lil Baby for a new summer single. Specifically, the U.K. star enlists Lil Baby for a joint offering known as "Phone Down," which is being debuted via its cinematic visual companion. "Phone Down" is also notable for being the first time Stefflon Don has worked with a fellow Quality Control artist since signing with the Atlanta-based music industry powerhouse.
"I don’t have a sense of division in my music. I’m always open to try new stuff and different styles," Stefflon Don previously explained to Crack magazine, sharing some insight into the artistic approach that births pop records like her "Phone Down" collaboration with Lil Baby. "Growing up in two different places opens your mind to two different cultures and two different ways of living. It helps make my music more broad rather than being just one sound … I feel like the most unique people always stood out to me, the people who just said whatever was on their mind."

"Phone Down" isn’t the only high-profile collaboration that Lil Baby has attached his name to in recent weeks; in the past month alone, the Atlanta superstar has worked with Lykke Li, SNOWSA and Lil Gotit on official remixes of "sex money feelings die" and "Da Real HoodBabies," and reconnected with DJ Khaled and Meek Mill twice for vignettes in support of "Weather the Storm" and the J Balvin- and Jeremih-assisted "You Stay."
