An executive at Skechers USA has found a new home to fit all his shoes.
An entity tied to the Manhattan Beach-based footwear brand paid $16 million for a five-bedroom home on Tennyson Place, The Real Deal has learned. Deed records tie the property to Skechers’ COO David Weinberg.
The sellers of the 7,300-square-foot property were Esmeralda and Ron Gallemore, records show. Esmeralda Gallemore, a former professional ballroom dancer, founded Veyetamins, a vitamin supplements company targets “ocular nutrition.”
Situated on a 15,000-square-foot lot, the modern home features ocean views and an expansive outdoor deck. It has five bathrooms and six-and a half bathrooms, a swimming pool, media room and gym.
The Gallemores, who built the home, paid $4.6 million for the land in 2012, records show.
Bryn Stroyke of Stroyke Properties shared the listing with Robert Freedman of RE/MAX Estate Properties. Federico Quevedo of Turing Trade represented the buyer.
Stroyke and Quevedo declined to comment. Freedman could not be reached.
