Recently, South Central-reared rapper RJ (also known as RJMrLA) has been focused on promoting his debut studio album, On God. Scheduled to see release on July 26, On God has been supported through the release of singles like "Apartment" and "Rat Race," with each On God leak representing a different side of its creator’s sound. Now, revisiting the latter record, RJ is debuting On God‘s latest music video, serving up a vignette for "Rat Race."
"The concept of the video was to capture a glimpse of the every day struggle to make ends meet," RJ shares with us in an exclusive statement, breaking down the inspirations behind his latest visual. "Like I say in the song, ‘When I kneel and pray up to the skies, am I quoting holy scripts or is it lies?’ And I chose to wear the #JusticeForRyan shirt because I wanna use my platform to spread awareness on an unjust situation."

RJ’s official debut studio album, On God, will see release on July 26 via EMPIRE. Besides this song, On God will also feature tracks with Young Thug, ScHoolboy Q, Snoop Dogg, Mozzy, The Game, Ty Dolla $ign, OT Genasis and Rich the Kid.
