After helping establish the battle royale game genre, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is now moving into its fourth season with a new cinematic trailer.
In the visual, we get a look into Erangel, the original PUBG map, and learn more about the battles taking place. According to the narrator, the island was invaded and he somehow made it out as the sole survivor of the siege. Sculpted by his experience, the narrator now holds a recurring event centered around survival.
The cinematic trailer serves a lead into a major overhaul for Season 4. Standouts from the update include a visual upgrade and a revamp of the some of the building complexes found throughout the game, along with some vehicle and weapon balancing.
