Although the release date for the upcoming Pokémon Masters mobile game has been a loose Summer 2019, developer DeNA has dropped six new gameplay trailers alongside the announcement of pre-registration for the title and release date. Pre-registration is open through Google Play and Apple’s App Store for Android and iOS users, respectively.
The visuals above and below demonstrate the strategic gameplay of the 3v3-player dynamic in Pokémon Masters. One of the videos even previews the game’s Story Mode and the ability to evolve Pokémon down the line. Another video gives insight into the cooperative play and switching between sync pairs (what the game calls trainer/monster pairs that travel together) during battle. Finally, they preview how to add new sync pairs to your team and how to build a team based on each sync pair’s strengths.
Pre-register on Google Play and the App Store now. Pokémon Masters is slated to arrive August 29, according to The Verge, meanwhile, the Canada version has a release window of "soon." However, a preview version of the game is already available in Singapore on Android-supported devices.
