The latest installment of Pharrell Williams‘ ongoing collaboration with adidas Originals is releasing later this month, seeing four new Hu NMDs dropping in "Solar Yellow," "Cream White," "Hyper Pop," and "Core Black."
As per all Hu NMDs, the upper is adorned with embroidered words such as "Breathe," "Sun," "Know" and, on the "Core Black/Gum" iteration, the phrase "Infinite Species." The four colorways come together for a pack called "PROUD," and all of them feature a chunky BOOST-equipped midsole paired to a grippy, carved gum-hued outsole.
The Summer-ready sneaker is constructed from the Three Stripes’ unique Primeknit fabric. The upper encompasses a tonal plastic eyestay design on the sides which interlocks the rope lacing across the vamp and over the embroidered text, while molded EVA midsole plugs on both sides of the shoe continue the now-iconic NMD design.
While the "Core Black," "Hyper Pop" and "Cream White" iterations provide a refreshing and clean take to the Human Race lineup, the "Solar Yellow" offering boldly stands out against even some of the loudest versions as it glows-in-the-dark.
