After unveiling its brand-new Joyride cushioning technology last month, Nike has released the range’s Joyride NSW Setter model in a splashy "Hyper Pink" colorway. The vibrant sneaker features contrasting shades of royal blue and orange along the upper, while a clean white midsole helps bring balance to the bright combination.
As noted with its debut, the sneaker is filled with thousands of tiny beads in the outsole, a design that Nike says creates "multi-dimensional displacement" and allows for a more personalized running experience. The upper of this edition has been layered with pink mesh and synthetic paneling and outlined in black along the lace keeper. Pops of blue are featured on the back of the collar and the midsole, while orange gets added to areas like the heel logo and the tip of the tongue. An iridescent Swoosh is applied to the toe cap to finish it off.
The Joyride NSW Setter "Hyper Pink" is available now from Nike Japan’s webstore, and is priced at ¥19,440 JPY (approximately $180 USD).
