After reviving its iconic 1998 silhouette and following it up with a blacked out colorway, Nike is now dropping the third re-release for the Air Ghost Racer, bringing the sneaker back in a retro blue and black scheme with dashes of neon and silver highlights.
Retaining the maximal design aesthetic, Nike constructs a "Racer Blue" nylon mesh upper with black leather panels all across the shoe, coupled with silver metallic TPU overlays to bring out that retro-futuristic look from the late ’90s and early 2000s. Branding comes in the form of neon "Hyper Jade" Swooshes by the midfoot, tongue and heel, with the eye-catching color lining the back of the tongue as well. The upper then sits on a Duralon BRS-1000 midsole and a Zoom Air heel unit paired with faux-carbon fiber inlays connecting the arch and heel of the sneaker, a tech-loaded midsole is designed for long-distance running.
Nike’s latest Air Ghost Racer "Racer Blue/Hyper Jade" is now available over at the brand’s online store, coming with a price tag of $130 USD. Head over to grab yours now.
Elsewhere in sneakers, Louis Vuitton has dropped its LV 408 trainer in a pristine black and white colorway.
