Nike SB is set to release a special version of the Zoom Janoski that pays homage to the Milwaukee folk-punk band Violent Femmes.
The shoe features the words "Violent" and "Femmes" chain-stitched on the lateral sides of the shoes in bright yellow, while the words are mirrored onto the rubber midsole. Details include leather laces, a graphic insole, and "I’m Nothing" written by Janoski on the tongue — hinting towards the band’s song from 1994. As part of the release, Janoski and the Violent Femmes will be releasing a special version of "I’m Nothing" which will feature Janoski’s vocal talents.
Look for these to drop this coming Fall season.
