Nike has given its Air Max 95 a crab-themed rework for a playful rendition of the classic silhouette, seeing a cartoon crustacean sitting on the tongue.
The cartoon crab features a mini-swoosh mouth which contrasts against the snappy seaside tones of its speckled 3M patent leather tongue and "White/Black/Burnt Orange" uppers. The signature "Burnt Orange" is seen on the lace loops (seen through black mesh), stitching, a lone AM95 wave stripe and the entire air bubble unit. The sneaker also features with a pebbly speckled effect on its leather side panels. Lastly, the sneaker features blue and yellow insoles, as a nod to the sea and sand.
The Nike Air Max 95 Crab is set to release sometime this Spring for $170 USD on Nike.com and at select retailers.
