Neuehouse opening in Downtown’s historic Bradbury Building

The club will occupy the entire second floor of the beloved landmark

Private club and workspace Neuehouse is planning to open a new location in the landmark Bradbury Building in Downtown’s Historic Core before the end of the year, the company announced today.

Set to open in November, the club will occupy the entire second floor of the whimsical structure, which was built in 1893 and has appeared in numerous films, including Blade Runner and 500 Days of Summer. (There will be a members-only entrance to the workspace on the first floor.)

“The expansion to the iconic Bradbury Building will allow us to enhance the membership experience even further in the areas of creative workspaces, programming and social spaces,” says Neuehouse CEO Josh Wyatt.

The Neuehouse will contain a gallery, private offices, a cafe in the lobby, conference rooms, and a “mediation nap room.”

The Neuehouse in the Bradbury joins an existing location at Columbia Square in Hollywood. That location opened in 2016, and according to Neuehouse, it’s at capacity and has a waitlist for members.

The Bradbury Building is a city landmark. The elaborate five-story office structure is as beloved by filming location scouts as it is by architects and architecture critics. Architect Charles Moore called it “one of the most thrilling spaces on the North American continent.”
