Following the expansive Fall/Winter 2018 drop, France’s M+RC Noir is heading north for a two-week-long pop-up at longstanding Belgian retailer Smets. The event will include an exclusive capsule, limited collaborative goods and some old favorites, while stocks last.
Staple pieces like hoodies and T-shirts are given a graphic facelift, with imagery that includes a flying dove surrounded by a circly of barbed wire ("FREEDOM AIN’T FREE") and faded M+RC Noir branding. A lightweight hooded black jacket offers an appropriate layer for the warming spring weather, with breathable cargo pants offered in a complementary olive drab.
To round out the capsule, M+RC Noir’s beloved bags also make their way to Belgium. Offered in both waist bag and shoulder pouch form, the carryables are executed in blacked-out reflective all-over branding.
The M+RC Noir pop-up launches today at Smets’ new location in Belgium’s largest city, Bruxelles.
Early this year, Smets hosted an exclusive drop of one-off vintage militaria reworked by Dr. Romanelli.
