Mountain Dew is the latest to jump on the list of Game of Thrones collaborators, having just unveiled its "A Can Has No Name" campaign.
Also set to sacrifice everything for the Iron Throne, Mountain Dew is forgoing its iconic green can in lieu of a brandless mask, that when chilled goes from an icy white to revealing everyone on Arya’s kill list. The only downside is this special limited edition can housing the beverage will not be available for public purchase and can only be found via a scavenger hunt set to take place in both New York and LA.
Clues to the locations and special passwords will be shared via Mountain Dew’s social media accounts. The passwords must then be given to the Masters of Coin at the Dew destinations which will then allow fans to redeem the special can from an Ice Vending machine.
The beverage company also "removed its face" by wiping out all of is past posts to only feature its #ForTheThrone campaign which includs a video of Philadelphia 76ers player Joel Embiid siping the drink on the throne.
The final season of Game of Thrones airs April 14 on HBO. A Game of Thrones: The Last Watch documentary will follow after the series finale.
