With higher expenses all around, restaurants are having a tough time competing in Los Angeles
By some measures, it’s been a challenging year for restaurants in Los Angeles. Some blame the glut of new places, others blame everything from higher rents to increased labor costs. Whatever the reason, there have been a significant number of restaurant closures already in 2019, and there’s still months left in the year. Everything from old and new restaurants have closed in the past year, though an alarming number of places have had a difficult time lasting more than a year. Here now, the most notable restaurant closures of 2019.
