Lamborghini has built an off-road rally-spec version of the Huracán Evo supercar, dubbed the Sterrato. The Huracán Sterrato blends high-performance with high-riding, packing a 640 BHP V10 engine that sits inside a car which rides 47mm higher than the standard model.
The Huracán Sterrato is wider by 30mm and features a recalibrated drive system called Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata. The upgrade controls its four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering systems, modified suspension and features a torque vectoring system which anticipates the driver’s next moves for performance excellence.
Lamborghini treated the exterior to a bulky body kit, bolting on extended fenders and roof and bumper lights. The Huracán Sterrato also features 20-inch wheels surrounded by "balloon" tires and gets underbody work that will protect the expensive components from off-road impact.
Maurizio Reggiani, Chief Technical Officer of Automobili Lamborghini said in a press release, “Lamborghini’s R&D and design teams are constantly exploring new opportunities and delivering the unexpected as a core characteristic of our DNA, challenging possibilities while inspired by Lamborghini brand heritage.” Take a look at the one-off concept in the gallery above.
