Berlin-based Kuboraum is known for its avant-garde approach to sunglasses, which the brand notably calls "masks," and its line-up for Spring/Summer 2019 is no different with a number of juiced-up options that are far from the average aviators.
For starters, the brand’s Mask U6 Sid frames in black come embellished with gold-tone piercings, rings and even safety-pins fit for a for a rock n’ roll look. The spiky sunglasses fall right in line with its key inspiration, which the brand notes was influenced by bassist Sid Vicious of punk band Sex Pistols. Meanwhile, Kuboraum keeps metal at the forefront for its dual-toned Mask H11 style, dipping the frames in a gold and black-matte coating for a color-blocked aesthetic.
Bringing in color for the season are the label’s Y5 sunglasses in lime green, which are crafted in 100% acetate and feature brown-tinted lenses. Its thick rims and neon bright hue offer a sporty touch for an on-trend option.
