Kinfolk & Umbro Unite on Capsule Inspired by Rio de Janeiro’s Youth

English sportswear label Umbro and lifestyle brand Kinfolk have joined forces on a new capsule for Summer 2019, presenting a limited range of pieces inspired by Rio de Janeiro’s youth culture. The collaborators tapped Brazilian photographer Ricardo Beliel to shoot the images and help bring the influence of the South American region to life.

Items in the assortment include T-shirts, jersey-like tops, jackets, boardshorts and hoodies, which are grounded in a minimal color palette of black, white and red. Co-branded logos bearing "Kinfolk" and "Umbro" monikers comprise focal graphics throughout. Meanwhile, a wavy black and white print on select styles brings in patterned options. A colorblocked button-down and accessories such as hats and socks round the assortment out.

The Kinfolk x Umbro collection is set to release on July 25 at The Kinfolk Store in Brooklyn, New York.
